Guys I am in serious trouble. I told everyone at work I wanted to have sex with my 10 year old sister after I spied on her showering this morning. Do you think I should send out a clarification email that I actually meant "I would'nt* want to have sex with my sister after I spied on her showering this morning" to fix everything? Would they believe me? I should add that most of them are Republicans.

Always think before you speak, especially in a work environment. Pray that they took it as a joke and not seriously. If people start treating you differently then assume that the rumor has grown and spread and at that point your reputation will be on the line. Don't further fuel the fire, just wait to see what happens.

Since they're Republicans, you best start looking for another job and hope you don't get reported. Had they been Democrats, they would have given you a raise and a day off from work to go do that to the poor 10 year old.
