I hear ya, its just that initial impact of running out in front of a bus, that makes you think twice!

I've often wondered about the so called Christians who don't want to die. I mean, with heaven and milk and honey and streets paved with gold waiting for them, one would think the biggest problem would be trying to keep them from trying to get there ahead of time.

You come to the understanding that it will happen and that it does happen to everyone. Then all you have to worry about is a premature death and the manner of it happening. The only thing you can do about the premature thing is don"t take any unnecessary chances. Everything else is up to chance or fate, (or the good Lord if you happen to believe.)

Realize that there is absolutely nothing you can do about it and move on. I used to wake up at night terrified of dying and as I've gotten older my only fear is how I might die and not if I will because we all will eventually. I've had several family members die of cancer and that is what scares me.

Like anything else, just do it. Once it is over, you'll realize your fears were groundless.
