Tell her you are one, it'll help her see it's not a big deal (assuming you are really her best friend)

Life is for you first and satisfying others desires for you second, otherwise someday you'll realize you are an old woman who never really did anything she wanted to do. If she can't handle who you really are, that is her problem. Don't feel desperate for friendship because there is a new friend in your future collecting a lifetime of stories to share you and wishing for future experiences to live with you.

Ask her why is she feeling that way?maybe she is afraid of other peoples opinions if she supported them.Maybe someone in her family is like that too so she acts that way.maybe she is yet finding herself.Theres many reasons.Tell her,see her reaction.Whatever happens sooner or later she will figure out how to deal with it. If she doesn’t want to be around you anymore let her go. If it stays that way then she doesn’t deserve you as friend. We are all equal.
