People need to understand that America is huge. The United States at its longest, from Adelup, Guam to St. Croix, Virgin Islands, is about the same distance as from London, England to Tokyo, Japan. The reason most Americans don't travel abroad is because there already is too much to see and do in this country. Why can't those Europeans understand that?

It's not about distance. There are wildly different cultures from the American culture.
