So my life has been a little crazy lately. I guess we can start with the reason I’m on here. My grandma (on my moms side) just passed away yesterday. She was pretty young, I think 72, and died in her sleep. I guess I’m still in denial about it, but it’s hit my mom pretty hard. Any advice on how to comfort her/the family in general? I know it’s a lot to ask of a bunch of strangers, but maybe some advice on how I and my family should approach dealing with this.

My grandma lived to 98 so I beat you on age.

Well, she lived to be 72 that isn't too bad my grandma died when she was 61, now I don't know how your grandma lived her life but I imagine she more than likely had a fulfilling one being a grandmother and all. So i say remember that she got to be a mother, a grandmother, and live to be in her 70s and not everyone gets to experience that.

My grandfather has been dead for years and I honestly don't feel anything. I think I have problems but not sure.
