In "uni"????? You must be Australian or a Brit. Either way your education will be crap. There are very few UNIVERSITIES and colleges in either place that are any good.

in response to: Should I stay in uni, in a course I don't like, but can complete in 2 more years, or do I start a new course in a new location, for a degree that will be 3 years and more debt, but where I will potentially be happier?

Given that I live in Australia and we're currently right in the middle of a rainy gloomy winter, my intuition says to say yes but winter has always been my favourite season - my birthday is in June, I love the snow even though I've only been to it once in real life, and I absolutely can't handle the 40c summer days to the point where I get dizzy spells and faint, cooler weather suits me more. In terms of overall weather I think I like autumn more.

The Book Of Moron (Originally known as the Necronomicon) is one of the world’s most sacred, yet elusive, holy books. This somewhat porous work has spread across all six of the continents as well as Australia. Advocates state that the book contains the secrets of the Morons. However, it is a well-known fact that many practitioners of Moronism have never read the Book of Moron due to their inability to read.

UNITED STATES / JUL 11, 2017 3:29 PM EST

in response to: Did you know that anointing the Holy Mooron is a sacrament to keep the members of the Church firmly in faith by the power of the Holy Spirit?
If you EuroPEONS werent such violent savages, then maybe the rest of the world would like you. But you had to go in and steal land from the native of many different places, America, South Africa and Australia. You racist cave dwellers can dish it out, yet you can't handle a bit of defensive "racism". Idiot Euroclowns

UNITED STATES / JUL 10, 2017 4:21 PM EST

in response to: Why are Europeans so smug and arrogant? It's as if they find it satisfying is to live and support the most self entitled and parasitic welfare society in the world. The only true advantage of being European is that you don't need to shower much
Since you're from Australia, just ask her if she wants to go kill some extremely dangerous wildlife in the outback with you :)

Seeing the word umbilical reminds me a film the other called Walkabout (1972?). An aboriginal boy befriends two english kids in the australian desert. The aboriginals thrived 50,000 yrs+ on the continent.

I'm from a poor Muslim country (Indonesia) and live in Western Australia. I'm pretty happy. Happy that those terrorists are going to die one day.

UNITED STATES / OCT 2, 2016 10:54 AM EST

in response to: I think that's it's important that we all make Muslims feel as unwelcome as possible. That may seem like a terrible thing to do but, really, it's in everyone's best interest--even the Muslims' best interest. Muslims can not and will not be happy in a western society. They can't integrate and they can't participate in a meaningful way. Let's send a message: MUSLIMS GET OUT!
This country? Which country? Australia? Be more specific.

UNITED STATES / OCT 2, 2016 10:22 AM EST

in response to: Trump is just too damn rich And immature. And "Trump" spelled backwards is "Pmurt", which rhymes with "Hurt", and he would badly "Pmurt" this country in office. He is an immature brat who mocks everyone. He has ideals of cutting finances from all of the more important resources the country needs in communities and feeding the industries from the National Debt. And he acted against the immigrants in that topic as well; they have to work too, you know. Why do people still support this guy?
I get a sneaking suspicion the person asking this question is either conducting market research, a troll, or in Australia and using a proxy (since October is a spring month there, it's reasonable to assume they have their prom in our fall)

UNITED STATES / OCT 1, 2016 8:05 AM EST

in response to: We grounded our daughter from her prom for something we later found out she didn't even do. It's been 6 months but she's still a little regretful about missing her prom. Her birthday's in October and she's indicated that she would really appreciate a prom-themed birthday party for herself and a few friends. We want to do this for her but it sounds expensive. How can we do it without totally breaking the bank?
Australian.

Kids helpline has an online and phone service. You will remain anonymous except for if you say you suicidal or something like that. Headspace is great also and you can communicate anonymously via email also if you want to go into a centre and your parents won't find out. These are in Australia but if you don't live here your country will likely have a similar service

in response to: For a few years now, I've been struggling with some mental stuff along with self harm. I hesitate to say I have depression or anxiety because I haven't been to a doctor. I'm a teen that would rather not clue my parents into what I've been going through, even though I've wanted to go to the doctor for a little while now. And I know that even after the endless internet research I've done, that self-diagnosis is still iffy. I'm just very lost, and I don't know what to do. Please leave advice.
