I used to be a very good speller but with spell check it has hurt my ability to spell. Made me lazy in the effort to get the hard words right.

in response to: Would it bother you if people told you that you can't spell properly?
Bothers me more knowing I can't. Sucks, since spelling was the only thing I consistently got high grades on in school.

Instead of taking Spanish you should be taking English so you can learn how to spell.

in response to: There's a sophmore who likes me and I'm only a freshmen. He got my number from someone in our spanish class and texted me saying how he was really shy but he asked me to hang out with him over text message. He hasn't said a word to me in class, not even a just a hi or even a smile. We were supposed to hang out today at the movies but I didn't want to go alone and my friends couldn't go. What should I do? I've been talking to him (texting) for less than a week.
I don't care if you stay if you quit spouting all that nonsense that you do and learn to spell.

12:39, *you* are showing your stupidity. "Voila" is a French word used in English. The French spelling would be "voilą".

in response to: ls zero an odd or even number>?
And it's spelled Viola not Voila. (Who is showing their stupidity now?)

in response to: I spent a day with my chatty sister and her friend and when I went to bed that night I could hear "echoes" of them in my ear. It was like their speech/laughter pattern going back and forth but with no discernible words. It reminded me of the bouncy feeling you get at night after jumping on a trampoline that day. (Is there a word for that?)
My Grandmother's cousin was Sionilli or Illinois spelled backwards.

You seldom write a complete sentence without using your cute little gems of nonsense and bad spelling.

These are not just questions, these are vacuous questions. Pointing out the spelling mistakes is the most useful thing you can do with them.

in response to: If your bold enough to sell your body on back pages you should be bold enough to admit it. Your so gross and degrading. I feel so sorry for your unborn child. Mother sales her body and father is a so called pimp. You need to get your life together. Selling your Nana on back pages will not get your far in life.

Spelling, grammar and punctuation are an important part of a question.

UNITED STATES / SEP 20, 2014 9:39 PM EST

in response to: are you minds open to new ideas?
Spelling, grammar and punctuation are important! Remember, this is the first part of your question others will see so you want to make a good impression. If you're not comfortable writing in English, ask a friend to proof-read it for you.
